Florida Renters Insurance

The coverage commonly referred to as “dwelling fire insurance” or Florida rental property insurance protects a rented building—whether a single-family home, condominium, apartment, or vacation rental—and any additional structures on the property such as a garage or shed.  Florida rental property insurance also provides liability protection in the case of property damage or bodily injury lawsuits.  Liability coverage is crucial because the property owner is responsible for accidents/damages that occur on the property—not the tenants.  These policies compensate for lost rental income when damages make the property uninhabitable for a period of time, allowing the owner to meet obligations while repairing or rebuilding the property.  While this rental property insurance covers appliances or other items a landlord provides for tenant use, it does not cover the personal property of a tenant.

Your Radiant agent will review your situation, explaining standard protections as well as options and exclusions.  You can place your trust in Radiant.
